Will you come to our house?
Yes! Speech by the Sound is a community-based private practice. We provide services in your home, preschool, and childcare settings.

What form of payment do you accept, and do you take insurance?
Speech by the Sound accepts cash, credit, debit, HSA and FSA cards.
We do not participate in any commercial insurance plans. If you have out-of-network speech therapy coverage, you may seek reimbursement for our services on your own. Out-of-network coverage is never guaranteed and clients are responsible for knowing their benefits. Payment is required at the time of treatment.
If your child has qualified for the Early Intervention Program or Preschool Special Education services, we may be able to work with your agency in limited circumstances. Contact us for more information.

How do I know if my child needs speech and language therapy?
Is your child difficult to understand?
Is he a "late talker?"
Has your pediatrician or teacher voiced concerns about your child's development?
Does your child not reply to her name or to people in her environment?
Is your child a picky-eater? Have they had difficulty transitioning from breast/bottle to solid food?
Does your child display frustration at not being able to communicate or not being understood?
Does your child have a medical diagnosis associated with speech and language difficulties?
Has your child's dentist shared concerns about tongue thrust or mouth breathing?
